CCMI Leica SP2 AOBS Shutdown

• Rack down objective turret to lowest position.
• Clean any immersion media off the lenses.
• Set argon laser intensity control to MINIMUM (fully counterclockwise).
• Turn off in the following order:
• UV lamp.
• Argon laser key switch.
• Argon laser power switch.
• Rest of lasers (in any order).
• Scanner.
• Microscope.
• Quit LCS software.
• Log out of Windows. Choose "Shutdown" option.
• Wait until PC has shut off.
• Turn off PC at power console.
• Enter time turned off and cumulative UV lamp hours in log book.
• Put mouse back in cradle to charge.
• Cover microscope with dust cover. WARNING! Make sure dust cover does not touch UV lamphouse!
• Note: argon laser cooling fan will automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
